Google officially released Android 9.0 name called Android Pie. Android 9 Pie is available for all Google Pixel devices. If you have already installed Android P Beta 4 on your Google Pixel devices, you’ll get an OTA update for Google’s official Android 9 Pie OS. Using this system software update, your Google Pixel device will be updated to Android 9 – Pie. Google released the latest android version Android Pie 9.0. Android P’s full name called Android Pie. If your Google Pixel device can’t get OTA updates, you’ll download system images to get Android 9 Pie for Pixel device. This Android Pie 9.0 has new features include such as Adaptive Battery, adaptive brightness, Navigation gestures, App actions, Lockdown, Notch support, and more.

How to Download and Install Android Pie 9.0 on Google Pixel & Pixel 2
If you’re device already running Android P Beta 4 or Android developer preview 5, Android 9 Pie is available for Google Pixel devices. You’ll get an OTA update on your device.
Step 1: Go to Settings in your Pixel devices if you have already installed Android P Beta 4.
Step 2: Tap System.
Step 3: Tap Advanced.
Step 4: Tap System update at the end of the page.
Step 5: Tap Check for updates.
You can see the message: System update available. This Android 9 Pie update size is 44.4 MB in my Google Pixel device. This update will install an official Android Pie 9.0 on your Google Pixel, Pixel 2, Pixel XL, and Pixel 2 XL devices.
Step 6: Tap Download and install.
Step 7: Wait for download update and after completed download tap Restart now.
Now your Google Pixel device updated to the android Pie 9.0 version. For non-pixel devices may have to wait for android 9 Pie version such as OnePlus 6, Sony Xperia XZ2, Vivo X21, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 8 Sirocco and more supported android 9 Pie devices.
