Google is rolling out new features for all Pixel devices running Andorid 14 QPR1 Beta 1. If your Pixel devices installed the Android 14 Beta program, you can check the system update to get the new Android 14 QPR1 Beta 1. This Android 14 QPR1 Beta 1 features for Pixel devices include a unique lock screen clock style, a new effect when changing the wallpaper, suggestions before searching add to the Pixel launcher search preferences, cycle count in battery information, app aspect ratio, and continue using apps on your Google Pixel Fold.
Everything New in Android 14 QPR1 Beta 1 for Pixel Phones
You can manually check for system updates on your Google Pixel phone using the settings below.
Step 1: Open the Settings app.
Step 2: Scroll down & tap the System.
Step 3: Tap the System update.
Step 4: Tap the Check for update.
My Google Pixel 6a received an update of 376 MB.
Step 5: Tap the Download & install.
Wait until you install the update on your Google Pixel devices.

1. New Lock Screen Clock Style
You can find the new Pixel lock screen clock style called the metro clock:
Step 1: Tap & hold the blank space on the home screen and tap Wallpaper & style.
Step 2: Tap the Lock screen tab at the top left.
Step 3: Swipe to the right until you see the new clock style.
You can set the clock color and size. Lock your Pixel phone to see how it looks.
2. Partial Effect when Changing the Wallpaper
Step 1: Long-press to the blank space on the home screen and tap the Wallpaper & style.
Step 2: Tap any wallpaper to see the partial effect.
3. Cycle Count in Battery Information
Settings > About phone > Battery information > Cycle count.
4. Suggestions Before Searching in Pixel Launcher
Step 1: Tap & hold the blank space on your Pixel home screen and tap the Home settings.
Step 2: Tap the Search preferences.
Step 3: You can see Suggestions before searching.
5. Change App Aspect Ratio
You can set the app usage screen as default, full screen, half screen, or 16:9.
Note: I can’t find this setting on my Google Pixel 6a (India).
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap the Apps.
Step 3: Tap the Aspect ratio.
Step 4: Choose from App default, Full screen, Half screen, or 16:9.
6. Continue Using Apps on Google Pixel Fold
You can see this setting if you have a Google Pixel Fold device.
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap the Displays.
Step 3: Tap the Lock screen.
Step 4: Tap the Continue using apps on Fold and choose from Always, Only games, videos & more, or Never.
