Let see how to change the order of back and recent app buttons in your OnePlus 6 Oxygen OS.

Step 1: Swipe down the notification shade and tap the Settings icon.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap Buttonss & gestures.

Step 3: Tap on Navigation bar & gestures.

Here you can see the Navigation gestures (Left & Right), Navigation gestures (Bottom), and home button, recent button, and back button settings.

Step 4: Make sure select the Back, Home, Recents options. Tap on Navigation bar customization under the custom settings.

Step 5: Toggle on Swap buttons.

You can see change the order of recents and back buttons in your OnePlus 6 Oxygen OS.

Also, hide the navigation bar on OnePlus 6 to add a button on the screen using the same settings. Just enable and use navigation gestures on the OnePlus 6 instead of the navigation bar of the screen.
