How to set up fingerprint on Galaxy Note 9

Samsung’s latest flagship galaxy Note 9 will be declared on 9th August in New York City. This Galaxy Note 9 device will look almost same as Samsung galaxy Note 8. The only difference will be galaxy Note 9 fingerprint sensor below the camera sensors instead of alongside the camera sensor on Note 8. You can easily enable and use fingerprint on galaxy Note 9 using lock screen and security settings. Also use Samsung Note 9 fingerprint sensor for buy apps from play store and make payment quickly & securely.


Step 1: Swipe down notification panel and tap Settings gear icon

Step 2: Tap Biometrics and security

Here you can see Intelligence scan, Face recognition, Iris scanner and Fingerprint scanner.

Step 3: Tap Fingerprint sensor

Step 4: Follow on screen instruction to set up & use fingerprint sensor

Step 5: Create Pattern, PIN number or Password

This will useful if not unlock your device using fingerprint. When this type of situation occurs, unlock your Samsung Note 9 using security you set up such as Pattern lock or PIN number or Password.

Step 6: Now put a finger on the fingerprint sensor below the camera sensors until 100% completed message view in your device.
