Want to disable fingerprint security and smart lock temporarily in your OnePlus 6T Oxygen OS? Here’s how to show lockdown option in OnePlus 7T Pro, 7T, 7 Pro, 7, 6T, 6. You need to enable lockdown mode feature to temporarily turn off smart locks and fingerprint security in your OnePlus. By default disable lockdown mode in your device. When enabling the show lockdown option, you can see the lockdown option add to the power menu. It will turn off smart lock, fingerprint, and notifications on the lock screen. You can unlock your OnePlus 6T using a PIN number or Password only.

How to Turn On Show Lockdown Option in OnePlus 6T Oxygen OS
You can find the show lockdown option under security and lock screen settings. To use lockdown in OnePlus 6T, apply the below-given settings.
Step 1: Swipe down the notification shade from the top of the screen and tap the Settings gear icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Security & lock screen.
In OnePlus 6T lock screen and security settings, you can see find my device, screen lock, lock screen preferences, fingerprint, face unlock, smart lock, and other settings.
Step 3: Tap on the Setting gear icon in front of the screen lock.
Here you can see show lockdown options. By default turned off toggle button.
Step 4: Toggle on Show lockdown option under the lock screen preferences section.
Step 5: Now long-press the power button in your OnePlus 6T.
Step 6: You can see the lockdown option in the power menu. Tap on Lockdown.
You can’t unlock your OnePlus 6T using fingerprint or face unlock or any other smart lock security.
Step 7: Enter your PIN or Password to unlock your OnePlus 6T once.
Step 8: Now, you can unlock your OnePlus using fingerprint or other smart locks.

How to Show or Hide Lock Screen Notifications in OnePlus 6T/OnePlus 6
By default show all notifications on the lock screen in your OnePlus 6T. You can hide sensitive content or don’t show all notifications on your device using the given settings.
Settings > Security & lock screen > Lock screen under Lock screen preferences section > Choose from Show all notification content/Show private content only when unlocked/Don’t show notifications at all
Now you can’t get any notifications or hide important messages from OnePlus 6T lock screen using the above-given settings.
