Just swipe left to right from the home screen in your OnePlus 6T to access Shelf. By default add widgets to shelf such as recent contacts, weather, recent apps, and more. You can add your favorite widget you want. Let see the complete process to enable and use Shelf widgets in OnePlus 6T Oxygen OS. You can add widgets or customize shelf widgets by just press & hold any of the other widgets and drag it to reorganize in your OnePlus 6T. Also, remove the individual widget you want from the list.

How to Customize the Shelf in OnePlus 6T
You can enable or disable shelf in OnePlus 6T under home screen settings. Make sure to turn on shelf in your OnePlus devices.
Step 1: Long press the blank area in your OnePlus 6T home screen.
Here you can see wallpapers, widgets, and home settings.
Step 2: Tap on Home settings.
In the OnePlus 6T home screen settings, you can see add a new app icon to the home screen, swipe down to access, Shelf, Double tap to lock, launcher layout, drawer, notification dots, icon pack, and home screen layout.
Step 3: Toggle on Shelf.
Step 4: Now go to the home screen and swipe right to access Shelf in OnePlus 6T.
You can see default widgets in your Oxygen OS device.
Step 5: Tap the floating button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 6: Choose widget you want to add to its shelf.
You can customize shelf widgets or reorganize them to long press and hold the other widgets in your phone.

Step 1: Swipe right from your home screen to access the shelf.
Step 2: Press & hold on the widget to drag it up or down to reposition it in the list.
Step 3: Tap the Red X button in the upper right corner of a widget.
If you don’t want to use the shelf in OnePlus 6T, turned off the toggle shelf in your device. You can customize the widgets you want on your device.
