Here’s how to set up fingerprint scanner in Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G. You can use fingerprint security to unlock your phone and hide or lock apps on your Samsung One UI 3.1 devices. Before adding a fingerprint, you need to set a screen lock (PIN, Pattern lock, Password). Also, use fingerprint scanner on Samsung pay, Samsung pass, and other purchase. Anytime add and remove fingerprint you want in your Samsung Galaxy devices.

Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel at the top and tap the Settings icon.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap Biometrics & security.

Step 3: Tap on Fingerprints.

Step 4: Tap Continue.

Set secure screen lock before set up your fingerprint.

Step 5: Select from Pattern (We choose)/PIN/Password.

Step 6: Draw a pattern and tap Continue.

Note: Remember this pattern. If you forget it, you’ll need to reset your phone and all data will be erased.

Step 7: Draw a pattern again and tap Confirm.

Step 8: Scan your fingerprint. Place your finger on the sensor, and then lift it off when you feel a vibration. The sensor is on the side key on the right side of the phone. Change the position of your finger slightly each time to get a full screen.

Step 9: Fingerprint added message appears on the screen.

Step 10: Tap on Done.

Lock your phone and unlock it with a registered fingerprint.

How to Add More Fingerprints on Samsung Fold2

Step 1: Go to Phone settings.

Step 2: Tap the Biometrics and security.

Step 3: Tap on Fingerprints.

Step 4: Tap Add fingerprint.

Step 5: Scan your fingerprint until 100% complete.

You can check added fingerprints and enable or disable fingerprint unlock and fingerprint always on.

How to Remove Fingerprint Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2

Step 1: Go to Phone settings.

Step 2: Tap the Biometrics and security.

Step 3: Tap on Fingerprints.

Step 4: Tap the Fingerprint you want to delete.

Step 5: Tap Remove at the upper right corner.

Step 6: Tap Remove.
