How to Set UP Fingerprint on OnePlus 11, 11R, 10 Pro, 10R, 10, 9 Pro, 9R

Here’s how to set up fingerprint on OnePlus 11, 11R, 10 Pro, 10R, 9 Pro, 9R and 9. You can add fingerprint to OnePlus phones to quickly unlock your device using your fingerprint scanner. Also, use fingerprint to app lock, private safe, and authorize purchases in the OnePlus Oxygen OS. Different fingerprint animation effects are available to change the in-display fingerprint unlock effect. You can add and remove fingerprints anytime. Turn the show fingerprint icon on or off to view the fingerprint scanner when the screen is off.

How to Activate Fingerprint Scanner on OnePlus 9 Pro

Step 1: Go to Settings.

Step 2: Scroll and tap the Password & security.

Step 3: Tap Fingerprint.

Step 4: Set the lock screen password if you haven’t set it up on your OnePlus, tap Continue.

Step 5: Select the OnePlus password type from Numeric, Alphanumeric, or Pattern (We Choose).

Step 6: Tap Continue.

Step 7: Draw a pattern you want to use to unlock your OnePlus device (Connect at least 4 dots).

Step 8: Draw the pattern again.

Step 9: Place your finger on your OnePlus device fingerprint sensor. Press the sensor and lift when you feel a vibration. Move your finger and enrol fingerprint edges.

Step 10: Tap Done or Add another fingerprint if you want to add multiple fingerprints. 

How to Rename Fingerprint on OnePlus 11, 11R, 10 Pro, 10R, 10

Settings > Password & security > Fingerprint > Tap Three vertical dots icon of the Finger > Rename > Enter the name > Save.

How to Change Fingerprint Animation Effect on OnePlus 11, 11R, 10 Pro, 10R, 10

Settings > Password & security > Fingerprint > Fingerprint animation effect > Tap the effect you want to set from Fizz, Bubble, Stardust, Cosmos, Ripple, Stripe, or Fireworks.

How to Quick Launch Apps using Fingerprint on OnePlus 11, 11R, 10 Pro, 10R, 10

Touch & hold the fingerprint sensor until icons appear. Without holding your finger, slide it to an icon and then release it to launch the corresponding function or app. 

Settings > Password & security > Fingerprint > Quick Launch > Toggle on Quick Launch.

How to Delete Fingerprint on OnePlus 11, 11R, 10 Pro, 10R, 10

Settings > Password & security > Fingerprint > Tap Three vertical dots icon of the Finger > Delete > OK.

Activate Fingerprint Scanner in OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9R, and OnePlus 9

Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel at the top and tap on the Settings icon.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Security & lock screen.

Step 3: Tap Fingerprint unlock under the device security section.

Step 4: Select the backup screen lock from Fingerprint+Pattern (We Choose)/Fingerprint+PIN/Fingerprint+Password.

Step 5: Draw an unlock pattern and tap Next.

Step 6: Draw your pattern again and tap Confirm.

Step 7: Select how the notification is viewed on the lock screen and tap Done.

By default, show all notification content on the lock screen.

Step 8: Tap on Next.

Step 9: Press and make your finger cover the fingerprint area as much as possible, then lift after you feel a vibration. Adjust the position of your finger to get fingerprint edge information.

Step 10: Fingerprint added message view when completing the process.

Step 11: Tap Done to finish.

How to Add Fingerprint on OnePlus 9 Pro, 9R, 9

Step 1: Open the app drawer and tap on the Settings app.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap the Security & lock screen.

Step 3: Tap on Fingerprint unlock under the device security.

Step 4: Tap Add fingerprint.

Step 5: Follow the on-screen instructions to add a new fingerprint.
