How to Customize Ambient Display in OnePlus 9 Pro/OnePlus 9
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel at the top and tap the Settings icon.
Step 2: Tap on Display.
Step 3: Scroll down and tap on Ambient display under the scenes section.
Step 4: Toggle on button to activate it.
You can enable or disable below given Ambient display settings.
Pick up your phone to show: Just pick up your phone and you can see notifications, date & time, battery percentage, and fingerprint sensor on the Ambient display screen.
Tap the screen to show: When lock your phone, tap the screen to view the ambient display screen.
Contextual info: It will show music info and an upcoming event on the ambient screen. Enable or disable it.
Fingerprint icon: Show fingerprint icon temporarily when the ambient display is shown.
Display message: Enter the text (Number) you want to display on the screen.
New notifications: Show notifications on the ambient display, along with horizon light.
How to Turn On Always-on Ambient Display on OnePlus 9 Pro
By default turned off this feature. This feature will consume an additional battery (Less percentage). You can set a schedule to automatically turn on always-on ambient display or enable it all day on your OnePlus device.
Settings > Display > Ambient display > Always-on ambient display > Choose Schedule or All day
How to Change Horizon Light on OnePlus 9 Pro/OnePlus 9
When you get text messages or other notifications, you can see horizon light along edges on the ambient display screen. This feature works only when the screen turns off.
Settings > Display > Ambient display > Horizon light at the end > Choose from Blue/Red/Orange/Purple > Save
How to Change Clock Style on Ambient Display in OnePlus 9 Pro/OnePlus 9
You can change the clock on Ambient display on your OnePlus 9 Pro using the below settings.
Step 1: Go to Phone settings.
Step 2: Tap on Customization.
Step 3: Tap on Clock on Ambient display.
Step 4: Select the clock style from Default/Insight/Text clock/Bold/Digital 1, etc.
Step 5: Tap on Save.
