2 Ways to Factory Data Reset Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL
To remove any problem on your Pixel 3a & 3a XL, you can reset your device to factory settings.
Note: A factory reset data will remove all data from your device.
Before you apply the factory reset, we recommend backing up your phone information. Make sure to remember your Google account username and password to restore data.
1st Way: Factory Reset Google Pixel 3a & Pixel 3a XL using phone settings
Step 1: Open the app drawer and tap the Settings app.
Step 2: Tap System.
Step 3: Tap Advanced.
Step 4: Tap Reset options.
Here you can see reset Wi-Fi, mobile, and Bluetooth, reset app preferences and Erase all data (factory reset) options.
Step 5: Tap Erase all data (factory reset).
Step 6: Tap Erase all data.
Now enter PIN or Password or Pattern lock if needed.
Step 7: Tap Erase everything.
After complete reset Pixel 3a & 3a XL, restart your device and restore your backed-up data using your Google account.
2nd Way: Reset back to factory settings on Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL using hardware keys
You can reset Pixel 3a XL and Pixel 3a using power & volume down key if you’re device won’t turn on or touch screen not working.
Step 1: Make sure to switch off your Google Pixel 3a & 3a XL device.
Step 2: Enter Pixel 3a into recovery mode using this.
Step 3: Press & hold the power button and volume up button one time only. Now, press the volume down button until select wipe data/factory reset, press the power button to apply it.
This message appears on the screen: Wipe all user data?
Step 4: To confirm, press volume down buttons to scroll to Yes and press the power button to select it.
Clearing the cache may take few minutes.
Step 5: Press the volume down buttons to scroll to reboot system now, press the power button to select it.
