How to Enter Recovery Mode on Galaxy S20 Ultra and S20 (Plus)

Here’s how to boot your Samsung Galaxy S20/S20+/S20 Ultra into recovery mode. You can enter in recovery mode only whey your device is power off. You can wipe cache/factory reset using the android recovery menu to fix several issues including frozen device, phone restarting, black screen, etc.

Samsung S20+ recovery mode includes Reboot system now, Reboot to bootloader, Apply update from ADB, Apply update from SD card, Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache partition, Mount/system, View recovery logs, Run graphics test, Run the local test, and Power off. Check out below given settings to boot into the Android recovery menu on your Galaxy S20/S20+/S20 ultra.

How to Enter Recovery Mode on Galaxy S20 Ultra and S20 (Plus)

Make sure power off your Samsung Galaxy devices.

Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel and tap the Power button.

Step 2: Tap Power off. Tap again Power off to turn off your phone.

Wait until switch off your phone.

Step 3: Press & hold the power key and volume up key at the same time until seeing the android recovery menu.

Now, recovery mode is available in your device.

Step 4: Use the volume up or down button to highlight the option you want to use.

Step 5:  Press the power button to apply it.

Most Common Use Recovery Menu

Apply Update from ADB: This helps the user to connect your android phone to PC or Laptop. This feature is intended for development only. Make sure to install the Android SDK on your computer.

Wipe data/factory reset: It will reset all your phone settings to factory default.

Wipe cache partition: This wipe cache partition will remove temporary data from your device.

Exit Recovery Mode on Samsung S20 (Plus) and S20 (Ultra)

To exit this mode, use volume up or down button and highlight the “Reboot system now” or “Power off” option and press the power button to get rid of recovery mode on S20+/Ultra.
