Here’s how to enable bedtime mode on Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Bedtime mode is sleep mode, which will automatically silence your phone, dim the wallpaper, and change the screen to black and white. Only alarms and important calls can reach you. You can set a schedule to use bedtime on Google Pixel devices. Also, enable Do Not Disturb for bedtime mode in your Pixel devices, allowing only calls from starred contacts, repeat callers, and alarms.

How to Enable Bedtime Mode on Your Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
Open the app drawer in the Pixel and tap the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls.
Tap the Bedtime mode.
Tap Turn on now. Now, bedtime mode is on to your Pixel device.
You can see the Moon icon at the top left side of the status bar. Tap Bedtime routine to set a schedule to automatically turn on bedtime mode on your Pixel device.
Choose from Use a schedule (Set start & end time), Turn on while charging, or None (By Default).
Customize Bedtime Mode in Google Pixel: Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro

- Do Not Disturb for Bedtime Mode: Only calls from starred contacts, repeat callers, and alarms can reach you when you enable DND for Bedtime mode.
- Screen options at bedtime: You can turn on or off the settings, including Grayscale mode, keep the screen dark, dim the wallpaper, or dark theme.
- Turn off Bedtime mode at the next alarm: If no alarm is set on your Pixel, Bedtime mode will automatically turn off at the scheduled time.
How to Add Bedtime Mode in Quick Settings Tiles on Google Pixel
Swipe down the notification shade twice from the top & tap the Pencil icon.
Scroll and find the bedtime mode. Long-press the Bedtime mode, drag it to the top of the quick panel menu, and add it to the tiles.
Tap the Bedtime mode to turn it on/off. Long-press the Bedtime mode to view the Bedtime mode settings on your Google Pixel devices.
