1st Method: Google Pixel 3a Show battery percentage in the status bar
Step 1: Swipe down the notification shade from the top and tap the Battery icon or Battery saver.
Step 2: Turn on Battery percentage toggle.
Now you can see percentage sign beside a battery symbol on your device status bar. If you don’t want to show Pixel 3a battery percentage, turn off toggle.
2nd Method: Display battery percentage in the status bar on Pixel 3a using battery settings
Step 1: Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen to open the app drawer.
Step 2: Tap the Settings app.
Step 3: Tap Battery.
Step 4: Turn on the toggle battery percentage.
