You can personalize Samsung’s always-on display, including clock style, notifications on the AOD screen, music information, set screen orientation, and turn auto brightness on or off. How to Customize Always-On Display on Samsung Z Fold 5 and Z Fold 4
Turn on the always-on display to access AOD details from the lock screen.
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Scroll down and click Lock screen.
Step 3: Click Always-On Display.
Step 4: Make sure to toggle on to view all Always-on Display settings on your Samsung phone.
You can see the below-given options to display clock style and notifications on the AOD screen when your phone isn’t in use.
Tap to show: When you tap on the lock screen, you can see the AOD information.
Show always: Always show the AOD information when your phone screen turns off.
Show as scheduled: Set a schedule to automatically enable always on display on your Samsung Z Fold device.
Show for new notifications: Your phone’s AOD screen wakes up when you receive a new message.
Step 5: Choose from one of the options you want to show the AOD information (Clock style and Notifications) on the lock screen.
How to Change Always-On Display Clock Style on Samsung Z Fold 5, Z Fold 4, and Z Fold 3
Step 1: Open the Settings app.
Step 2: Scroll down and touch the Lock screen.
Step 3: Touch Always-On Display.
Step 4: Touch Clock style.
You can see two options here to choose an AOD clock style.
- Select clock: Choose a clock style from the default available type. You can change the clock color also.
- Image clock: Choose an image from your gallery, Emoji, Stickers, AR Emoji, or Theme. Also, set a color.
Step 5: Choose a Clock style, change the color of the Always-on display clock style, and tap Done.
Lock your device & tap on the screen to see the Always-On Display clock style you set.
Other AOD settings you can enable are showing music information, auto-brightness, and setting the screen orientation as portrait or landscape.
