Remove the case and screen protector

If you have used a Pixel case and screen protector, remove the case from your phone to improve Pixel touchscreen. If you still have a facing issue, remove the screen protector and check.

Google Pixel touch screen calibration

Download a touch screen test app and calibrate your Google Pixel screen and go over the entire screen and check to fix the touchscreen issue.

Remove SIM card

Power off your Google pixel and pixel XL device. Remove SIM card from your device and after a few seconds reinsert again. Now turn on your Google pixel and pixel XL phone and check issue resolved or not.

Wipe Data/Factory Reset Google Pixel & Pixel XL

Make sure back up & restore your important data before applying below given settings. It will remove all your phone data.

Step 1: Press and hold the power button, home, and volume button at the same time.

Step 2: While phone vibrates, holding the home & volume up button until appear “Android system recovery” screen.

Step 3: Press the volume down button until “Wipe data/factory reset” and press the power button to apply it.

Step 4: Press the volume buttons to scroll to “Yes” and press the power button to select it.

Wait until complete the process.

Step 5: Use the volume buttons to scroll to “Reboot system now”, press the power button to select it

After wipe cache data on Google Pixel & Pixel XL, check the touch screen working normally.

  1. Maybe return the Pixel? All people know Pixel 4A and 4A 5G have hardware problems of touch screen. Not usefull this points.
