When turning on Wi-Fi, your Android device searches for the nearest connection and tries to obtain an IP address to connect to the network. But sometimes facing this Google Pixel connected but no internet problem also.

Restart your Pixel

Long-press the power button until the power menu appears, and tap on Restart to reboot your Pixel. Now, try to connect with your Wi-Fi network.

Restart the Router and Modem

Unplug the router and modem’s cable for 05-10 seconds from the wall outlet. Plug the power cable back in and turn it on. Wait until the lights on the modem and router turn on. The issue is with the router, modem, or internet connection if the lights aren’t working.

  1. I tried all this and still can’t connect. I have a GooglePixel 3a.

    • yeah me too, same device. also having the same issue. It connects but shows as ‘no internet’ even though my laptop is connected and my boyfriend’s phone is connected.

  2. Changing to IP setting from DHCP to static did not work, but what worked, was to change in privacy “use randomized MAC address” to “use device MAC address”. Then I got Internet connection.
