When you forgot your Pixel 2 password or pattern lock, you can reset pattern lock on Pixel 2 without unlocking your device.
Step 1: Turn off your Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Oreo devices.
Step 2: Press & hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until the phone vibrates.
