You’ll use this smart reply feature to replay a message quickly in your android 9 Pie, Oreo, Nougat and other devices. Let see how to enable/disable and use smart reply in android messages apps.
Step 1: Open Messages app in your android devices
Step 2: Tap Three vertical dots (Menu) at upper right corner
Step 3: Select Settings
Here you can see android messages settings such as default SMS app, Notifications, Smart Reply, Automatic link previews and advanced settings.
Step 4: Tap Smart Reply
Step 5: Turn on toggle Smart reply
Step 6: Now start chat on message app with your friends or family member
At the bottom of a conversation, you’ll sometimes see suggested replies based on recent messages in the conversation.
Step 7: Just tap text to send a suggested reply
If you don’t want to use, turn off Smart reply toggle button in your android messages. Let see other new messages settings called automatic link previews.
How to enable automatic link previews on android messages
Here you can see previews of links without clicking those people send you. This link is based on information from the websites they send you link. Make sure enable android messages permission to send or receive files.
Step 1: Open SMS app in your android device
Step 2: Tap Three vertical dots (More) at upper right side
Step 3: Tap Settings
Step 4: Tap Advanced
Step 5: Tap Automatic link previews
Step 6: Turn on toggle show previews in messages
Also enable/disable only download previews on Wi-Fi settings in your android messages.
