How to Use Secure Folder on Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra

Want to access Samsung secure folder on Samsung Galaxy S21 series? Here’s how to enable secure folder on Samsung S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra 5G. You can use secure folder to add apps & files like photos, videos, audio, and documents and secure your data. Also, lock the secure folder with your fingerprint or other lock screen security to access it.

How to Use Secure Folder on Galaxy S21 Plus

Step 1: Pull down the notification panel from the top and touch the Settings icon

Step 2: Tap on the Secure folder feature in the quick settings tile.

Step 3: Tap the Agree button.

Step 4: Sign in with your Samsung account. If you have not created your Samsung account, you’ll need to create it.

Step 5: Select a Screen lock (Pattern/PIN/Password/Fingerprints) to protect your apps and files

Step 6: Draw the pattern lock and then tap on Continue.

Step 7: Draw the pattern again and then tap on OK.

You can see the list of installed apps in a secure folder. Tap the app to open it.

Step 8: Tap on Add apps to add more apps or Add files to upload files to secure folder.

Step 9: Select the file type (Images, Audio, Videos, My files, Document) you want to upload.

Step 10: Select the videos (We select) and tap on Done at the top right corner.

If you move these files to a secure folder, they will be removed from their original folders. Copying the file will create a duplicate version in the secure folder.

Step 11: Choose from Copy or Move.

How to Lock/Unlock Secure Folder in Samsung Galaxy S21+/S21 Ultra/S21

Step 1: Open the app drawer and tap on the Secure folder.

Step 2: Tap on Three vertical dots (More) at the top right corner.

Step 3: Select the Lock and exit.

How to Access Secure Folder in Samsung S21/S21 Ultra/S21 Plus

Step 1: Open the app drawer and tap on the Secure folder.

Step 2: Unlock the screen and tap on Done.
