Choose your OnePlus 8 Pro theme from colorful/light/dark. You can change the dark or light theme using display settings. A dark theme is useful to extend battery life in your OnePlus. How to Turn On Dark Mode on OnePlus 8 Pro
Check out below given two methods to activate dark mode in your latest OnePlus devices.
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap Customization.
Step 3: Tap Tone under the system customization section.
Colorful: Darkness on the top of the bar or notification panel and other screen background looks white.
Light: White screen on the phone background.
Dark: Black background on your phone.
Step 4: Select tone from Colorful/Light/Dark.
Step 5: Tap the Right arrow icon at the top right.
2nd Way:
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap Customization.
Step 3: Tap the Preset theme at the top.
Step 4: Choose from Vibrant tints/Illuminating light (Light mode)/Nuanced dark (Dark mode).
Step 5: Tap Apply.
Now, you can see the black background on the notification panel, phone settings, app drawer, etc.
Enable dark mode for the individual app on OnePlus 8 Pro
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap Utilities.
Step 3: Tap on the OnePlus laboratory.
Step 4: Tap Enable dark tone in more apps.
Step 5: Toggle on the app you want to use a dark theme.
