Turn Off Google Assistant Permanently on Android 12/Android 11 using Google App
Step 1: Swipe up from the bottom to open the App drawer and tap on Google App.
Step 2: Tap on the Profile icon at the top right corner.
Step 3: Tap on Settings.
Step 4: Tap on Google Assistant.
Step 5: Scroll down and tap on General under all settings sections.
Step 6: Toggle off Google Assistant.
This pop-up message appears: Turn off Google Assistant?
Step 7: Tap on TURN OFF.

Step 1: Open the Google App on your Android device.
Step 2: Tap More at the bottom right corner.
