Do you want to unlock your Samsung S21 series without touch it? Here’s how to set up a smart lock in Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G/S21+/S21. It will automatically unlock your phone when in your pocket, motion, or near your home. Samsung Smart lock includes on-body detection, trusted places, and trusted devices. Another lock screen security you use to unlock your phone is a fingerprint scanner, face unlock, PIN, Pattern, or Password (Strongest).

How to Set Up and Use Smart Lock in Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus/S21 Ultra
Step 1: Pull down the notification panel at the top and tap the Settings icon.
Step 2: Tap Lock screen.
Step 3: Tap Smart lock.
Below given three options are available
On-body detection: Keep your device unlocked while it’s on you. Just unlock once and your device stays unlocked as long as it’s in motion, such as when you’re holding or carrying your device. Your device will lock when it detects that it’s been put down.
Trusted places: Add your address you want to automatically unlock your phone.
Trusted device: Add a trusted Bluetooth device (Bluetooth speaker, Bluetooth watch, Ca’s Bluetooth system) to keep this device unlocked when connected. Make sure Bluetooth connection range of up to 100 meters.
Step 4: Select from the above option and enable it to use it.
How to Lock Instantly with Side Key in Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G
If a smart lock is in effect, the phone will stay unlocked when turning on this option.
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap on the Lock screen.
Step 3: Tap Secure lock settings.
Step 4: Toggle on Lock instantly with side key.
How to Turn Off/Get rid of Smart Lock (Temporary) in Galaxy S21 series using Lockdown option
When enable show lockdown option, it will temporary disable smart lock, biometric unlock, and notifications on the lock screen. You can see lockdown option in the power menu.
Settings > Lock screen > Secure lock settings > Toggle on Show lockdown option
Now, you can’t unlock your Samsung device using fingerprint, face unlock, or other smart lock options. Unlock your phone using a PIN or Password to use biometric security again.
