Enable and Use Live Captions on Google Pixel 4 using Sound Settings
Step 1: Go to Settings in your latest Pixel devices.
Step 2: Tap on Sound.
Step 3: Tap on Live Caption.
Step 4: Toggle on Live Caption.
Here you can see Google Pixel 4 live caption settings including Language (English only), Hide profanity, Show sound labels, and live caption in volume control to quickly activate live caption using volume up or down button.
Turn on Live Captions on Pixel 4 XL using Accessibility Settings
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Accessibility.
Step 3: Tap Live caption under the Audio & On-screen text section.
Step 4: Toggle on Live Caption.
