Want to quickly launch apps from the lock screen using the in-display fingerprint scanner on your OnePlus 8 Pro? Here’s how to enable and use quick launch on OnePlus 8 Pro. By default turned off this feature. Long press the fingerprint area to launch quick pay, swipe to select the shortcut, and release the finger to quickly open it. You can add shortcuts in your device such as a camera, create alarm, WiFi, trending, etc. Also, add the apps if you don’t like shortcuts.

When turning on a quick launch feature, you can add shortcuts that will useful to launch apps faster to long-press the in-display fingerprint scanner. Let see how to activate and use it.
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel from the top of the screen and tap Settings.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap Utilities.
Step 3: Tap Quick launch.
Step 4: Toggle on “Turn on Quick launch”.
Step 5: Tap Shortcuts settings.
You can see shortcuts preview already added. Also, re-arrange & remove it from the list.
Step 6: Tap Add shortcuts and select the shortcuts you want to add.
Step 7: Tap the Apps tab if you don’t like shortcuts.
Step 8: Select the apps you want to add.

Step 1: Make sure to lock your phone.
Step 2: Press & hold the fingerprint scanner and swipe over to show shortcuts and release the finger to launch the app or shortcuts.
