How to Change Home Screen in Google Pixel 4a 5G
You can personalize your home screen in your Pixel 4a (Stock Android 11) using the below settings.
Step 1: Tap & hold the blank space in your Pixel 4a home screen.
Step 2: Tap on Home settings.
Below given settings available in your Pixel 4a device.
Notification dots: By default turned on this feature. You can see the round icon on the app when you receive new notifications. Android 11 added new notification history and bubbles settings in your Pixel 4a.
At a glance: You can enable calendar events (Upcoming meetings alerts) and work profile (Alert from work profile).
Add app icons to home screen: Enable it if you want to add a new download app shortcut to the home screen.
Swipe to access Google app: Swipe left to right to access Google app or Google news feed. You can follow your interesting topics here and get the latest news about them. Toggle off it if you want to temporarily disable it.
Suggestions: It will show the most recently used apps at the top of the app drawer. Android 11 added new suggestions on home screen that show the apps on the bottom row of the home screen. Also, blocked apps you don’t want to show on the home screen.
Allow home screen rotation: By default turned off this. When you enable home screen rotation in Pixel 4a, it will rotate the home screen automatically when your phone is rotated.
