Using this battery notification option, you can enable android 8.1 Oreo’s persistent notification in your device.
Enable/Disable Persistent Notifications Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Oreo
Step 1: Go to Settings in your android Oreo device
Step 2: Tap Apps & notifications
Step 3: Tap App info
Step 4: Tap Three vertical dots from the top right side corner.
Step 5: Tap Show system.
Step 6: Scroll down and tap the Android system.
Step 7: Tap App notifications.
Step 8: Scroll up to Apps consuming battery.
By default enable apps consuming battery in your android 8.1 Oreo devices. To disable the persistent icon, tap on Apps consuming battery > importance > Low
Step 9: Toggle off “App consuming battery“.
