Let see steps to disable heads up notification Oreo of individual apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and more.
Disable Heads Up Notification Android 10 and 9 Pie
Step 1: Go to Settings in your latest android devices.
Step 2: Tap on Apps & notifications.
Step 3: Tap on See All apps.
Step 4: Select App from the list.
Step 5: Tap on Notifications.
Step 6: Toggle off “Show notifications” under the chats section.
How to Turn Off Peeking Notification in Oreo 8.1
In android 8.1 Oreo device only by default installed app has importance level settings available.
Step 1: Go to Settings in your Android 8.1.
Step 2: Tap on Apps & notifications.
Step 3: Tap on Notifications.
Step 4: Tap on App notifications.
Step 5: Select the App you want to disable heads up notification Oreo devices.
Step 6: Tap on Any categories from the list.

Step 8: Choose Low.

Turn Off Head-up Notification in the Facebook App in Android Oreo 8.0
Settings > Apps & notifications > Facebook > Toggle off Sound
Just select another app such as Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and you’ll disable peek heads up notification (Google Pixel 2) using the above settings.
