Here’s how to change or customize home screen settings on OnePlus 6. In OnePlus 6 home screen settings, you can enable add icon to home screen, swipe down, Shelf widgets, enable/disable notification dots, change icon pack, and change home screen layout. You can change home screen layout in OnePlus 6 including home screen grid size, app icon size, and show or hide app names. Also, create an app folder and add widgets to the home screen. How to Customize Home Screen on OnePlus 6/6T Oxygen OS
Step 1: Tap and hold the blank space in your OnePlus 6 home screen.
Here you can see wallpapers, widgets, and home settings options.
Step 2: Tap Home settings.

Add icon to home screen
When you download and install a new app from the play store on your OnePlus 6/6T, that app shortcut add to your home screen automatically. By default enable add the app icon to the home screen in OnePlus 6. If you don’t want to add an app icon to the home screen, disable it on your devices.
Swipe down to access
Swipe down from any home screen to quickly access notifications and quick settings in your OnePlus 6.
Shelf
You can access Shelf by Swipe right on the home screen.
Double tap to lock
Double-tap on the blank space of the home screen to lock the OnePlus and turn the screen off.
Launcher Layout (New Added)
Two options available here. One is the home screen only (All apps can be accessed from the home screen) and another is the home screen & drawer (Swipe to access all apps in the drawer).
Drawer (New Added)
It will display all the apps while entering the drawer on your phone. Choose from All apps or Quick search.
Notification dots
By default turned on notification dots. Whenever you’ll receive any notifications on your device, you can see the dots icon on the app you received notification.
Icon pack
You can change icon shape in OnePlus 6 from OnePlus/Round/Square and more.
Home screen layout
You can change the home screen layout in the OnePlus 6 including home screen grid size, icon size, and show or hide app names. Choose home screen grid size from 3×5/3×6/4×5/4×6/5×5/5×6.
Hidden Space (New Added)
Slide outwards with two fingers on the home screen to enter hidden space. You can add apps to hide it from your phone.
