You can organize apps, create multiple folders, rename or delete a folder, but you can’t create a folder in the Pixel app drawer. Add more than one app in your folder. How to Create App Folder on Google Pixel and Pixel XL
Step 1: From the home screen, tap & hold one app and drag the app to another app.
You can see a folder created and by default name is “Unnamed folder“.
Step 2: Tap on the “Unnamed folder” to change the app folder name.
Step 3: Enter the name and press the Right arrow icon from the keyboard or tap on the blank area of the screen.
Now, created an app drawer folder in your Pixel XL and Pixel. You can add multiple apps in this folder. Also, create multiple app folders as above.

To rename or change the app folder name, just tap on the folder name and enter the new name and touch on the blank area of the screen.
How to Remove App Folder From Pixel and Pixel XL
Tap & hold the created app folder and drag it to “Remove” icon at the top and release it.
