How to Animate in Google Photos on Google Pixel & Pixel XL
Step 1: Open the “Google photo app” on your Google Pixel & Pixel XL.
You can view four options in your device including Assistant, Photos, Albums, and sharing. Using this sharing feature, directly share photos or videos to your friends or family member.
Step 2: Tap “Assistant” from the bottom left side corner or “For you” (latest Android) at the bottom list.
Here you can see four options including Album, Animation, Movie, and Collage.
Step 3: Tap “Animation” under the create new section.
View your stored images in your Pixel and Pixel XL devices.
Step 4: Select the images you want to create animation (Add minimum 2 & maximum 50).
Step 5: Tap “Create” from the top of the right side corner.
After finish with the above steps, you can share animation photos with your friends or family member. Also, save it on your device. It’s quite easy to create animations with Google photos in Google Pixel device.

Open Google Photos app > Tap “For you” at the bottom list > Animation > Select 2 photos > Create at the top right corner
Choose back up device folders on Google Pixel & Pixel XL
Your camera folder is automatically backed up. Choose other folders to back up and view in the library from Raw photos, Screenshots, WhatsApp images, WhatsApp video, image, Instagram images and more.
Open Google photo app > Three horizontal lines at the upper left corner > Settings > Back up & Sync > Back up device folders > Turn on toggle you want to automatically back up
