Step 1: Open camera app in your Samsung S9 & S9 plus

Step 2: Swipe right up to Live focus on camera mode

Step 3: Set the position of subject you want to take photo

For better shot position of your subject should be 1 & 1.5 m from the camera lens. If not set perfect position, you can see live focus not applied due to shooting conditions. And while subject is in the perfect place, you can see live focus ready.

Step 4: Now adjust the background blur by sliding the focus bar

If you have a galaxy S9 plus device, you can set background blur shapes such as Rabbit, Butterfly, Snow, Heart, Flower, Twinkle and more. It will Bokeh background lights into shapes and add shine with flash of light in photo.

Note: Live focus with background blur shapes filter only available on the Samsung galaxy S9 plus rear camera

Now taken photo added to your S9 device gallery. You can also edit photo using live focus after taken photos in your galaxy S9 and galaxy S9 plus devices.

Step 1: Select photo taken from the Gallery

Step 2: Tap on Adjust background blur

Step 3: Move slider left or right side to adjust the blur level

Step 4: Tap on Right arrow icon at bottom left side to save photo
