Here’s how to take a screenshot on Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. You can capture the web page or currently opened screen on your devices. To screenshot on Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, you can simultaneously use the power & volume down buttons, quick tap gestures, recent apps, accessibility menu, and Google Assistant. You can find the screenshot on your Pixel in the Google Photos app.

How to Take a Screenshot on Your Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
1. Use Power & Volume Down Buttons
Open the web page or screen you want to capture the screenshot and long-press the power & volume down buttons simultaneously.

Open the Google Photos app > Library > Screenshot folder to view the screenshot.
2. Use Quick Tap Gesture Feature
Ensure to select the take screenshot option to use this Google Pixel quick tap feature.
Go to Settings, search the System, and tap it.
Tap the Gestures and tap Quick Tap to start actions.
Turn on the Use Quick Tap and choose the Take Screenshot option.
Open the web page or screen and double-tap on the back of your Pixel 8 or 8 Pro to capture the screenshot.
3. Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro Screenshot without Power Button (Using Accessibility Menu)
Open the settings app, find the Accessibility, and tap it.
Scroll down and click the Accessibility menu in the interaction controls section.
Toggle on the Accessibility Menu shortcut and touch Allow.
Open the webpage or screen you want to capture the screenshot.
Tap the Accessibility button on the screen.
Tap the Right-side arrow at the bottom and tap the Screenshot button to take a screenshot.
4. Use Recent Apps
Swipe up and hold to view all the recent apps on your Google Pixel device. Swipe the screen on the right side until you see the app you want to capture the screenshot.
Tap the Screenshot at the bottom to take the screenshot.
5. Use Google Assistant
Open the page or screen on your Pixel device.
Say “Hey Google” to launch the Google Assistant and take a screenshot to capture the current screen on your Pixel device automatically.
How to Take a Scrolling Screenshot on Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
To take a scrolling screenshot (Long Screenshot) on your Pixel, first use one of the above-given methods to capture the screen.
Tap the Capture more in the taken screenshot on your screen.
Adjust the page size or screen you want to capture the long screenshot.
Tap the Pencil symbol at the bottom right to edit the screenshot.
You can add text, change the text style & color, and draw. Also, share or delete the screenshot on your phone. Tap Save at the top left side to save screenshot on your Pixel device.
The screenshot is on your Google Photos app > Library > Screenshot.
