Do you want to make your number private on Samsung Galaxy devices? By default, turn on caller ID on my Samsung Galaxy. How do I Turn On Caller ID on my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra/S21 Ultra/S22 Ultra 5G?
Step 1: Open the app drawer and tap on the Phone app.
Step 2: Tap on Three vertical dots (More) at the top right corner.
Step 3: Tap on the Settings.
Step 4: Scroll down and tap on Supplementary Services.
Step 5: Tap on Show your Caller ID.
You can see the network default, never, and always options here.
Network default: By default, set this. Your SIM card provider if your phone number is displayed.
Never: Your phone number is hidden from the caller.
Always: Always display your number to the caller screen.
Step 6: Set the caller ID you want on your Samsung.
For Older Android Version on Samsung: Phone app > Three vertical dots > Settings / Call Settings > More or Supplementary settings > Show caller ID

You can only view names when any incoming calls receive on your Samsung devices. Also, enable or disable hide contacts without numbers on your phone.

If you don’t want to get text messages or calls from specific contacts, you need to block that number in your Samsung S20 series. You can block unknown caller/private numbers and add phone numbers from your contacts or recent calls list. Also, use caller ID and spam protection feature to block spam calls on your Samsung devices. To block calls on Samsung, open the Phone app > Three vertical dots > Settings > Block number > Add a phone number > Done.
