How to Reset Pixel 5 to Factory Settings Using Phone Settings
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel from the top and touch the Settings gear icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on System.
Step 3: Tap Advanced.
Step 4: Tap on Reset options.
Step 5: Touch Erase all data (Factory reset).
You can see the list of erasing data from your Pixel’s internal storage. Here you check or uncheck the erase downloaded SIMs option also.
Step 6: Tap on Erase all data.
Confirm your screen lock to continue the process.
Step 7: Tap the Erase all data button to delete all your phone data.

How to Reset Google Pixel 5 Using Power & Volume Buttons
You can apply the below settings if your Pixel 5 unresponsive touch screen, black screen, won’t power on, frozen, and other issues. Don’t forget to back up data before hard reset your device.
Step 1: Confirm Power off your Pixel 5.
Step 2: Tap & hold the power and volume down button at the same time until the Start screen view.
Step 3: Press the Volume down button until view the Recovery mode.
Step 4: Press the Power button to enter recovery mode Pixel 5.
Step 5: Now, Android Robot exclamation mark with No command message view.
Step 6: Long press the power button and press the volume up button once to view the Android recovery menu.
You can see the Pixel 5 recovery menu including Reboot system now, Reboot to bootloader, enter fastboot, Apply update from ADB, Apply update from SD card, Wipe data/factory reset, Power off, etc.
Step 7: Press the volume down button until select the Wipe data/factory reset.
Step 8: Press the Power button.
You can see this message: Wipe all user data? This cannot be undone!
Step 9: Press the volume down button to select Factory data reset.
Step 10: Press the Power button to apply it.
Wait until wiping the data in Pixel 5.
Step 11: Press the Power button to reboot the system now in your Pixel 5.
Delete all your phone data and reset your Pixel to factory settings.
