You can reduce the battery life on your Pixel phone to adjust the brightness level, minimize screen timeout, use battery saver mode, turn on adaptive battery, and more. How to Improve Battery Life on Your Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8
Apply the settings below to extend battery life in your Google Pixel devices:
1. Turn On Adaptive Battery & Adaptive Charging
It will automatically optimize how apps use the battery in your device and reduce the performance and delay notifications.
Settings > Battery > Battery Saver > Toggle on Use Adaptive Battery.
To enable adaptive charging, go to Settings > Battery > Adaptive charging > Toggle on Use Adaptive Charging.
2. Turn On Adaptive Brightness
It will automatically set the screen brightness to your environment and activities.
Settings > Display > Toggle on Adaptive brightness.
3. Reduce Screen Timeout Time
Reduce the screen time in your Pixel device. Minimizing screen time will automatically turn off the screen, which improves the battery life of your Google Pixel.
Settings > Display > Screen timeout > choose a 30 seconds or 1 minute.
4. Restrict Battery Usage
If a specific app uses more battery in your device, you can stop battery usage while in the background.

5. Enable Battery Saver Mode (Extreme Battery Saver)

6. Check for System Update

7. Enable Dark Theme or Dark Mode

8. Turn Off Always Show Time and Info

9. Turn Off 5G
Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > Tap your Carrier Name > Preferred network type > Choose LTE.
10. Turn Off App Location Permission or Services
You can allow or disallow location permission for individual apps in your Google Pixel using the settings below.
Settings > Location > App Location permissions > Tap Any App > Choose a Don’t Allow.
11. Turn Off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS
Please turn off the internet (WiFi and mobile data) and GPS in your Google Pixel while not using it.
