How to Factory Reset Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro without Password (Using System Settings)
Ensure to back up your important data before factory resetting your Pixel devices.
Step 1. Open the Settings app.
Step 2. Find the System and tap it.
Step 3. Scroll down at the end and tap the Reset options.
Step 4. Tap the Erase all data (Factory reset).
Step 5: Tap the Erase all data at the bottom right.
Step 6: Confirm your Pattern.
Step 7: Tap the Erase all data.
Reset your Pixel 8 to factory default settings. When your Pixel phone starts, you need to set it up again.
Reset Your Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro with Hardware Buttons
Step 1. Ensure to power off your Pixel 8 series. Touch and hold the Power & volume down keys simultaneously until the screen turns on. Start menu view on your screen.
Step 2. Select the Recovery mode to press the Volume Down key and press the Power button once to access the recovery menu.
The No command text with the Android robot exclamation mark symbol appears on your Pixel screen.
Step 3. Tap & hold the power button & press the volume up button once to boot your Pixel 8 into recovery mode.

Step 4. Press the Volume Down button until the Wipe data/factory reset is highlighted & press the power button to the following process.
By default, cancel is highlighted.
Step 5: Highlight the Factory data reset by pressing the Volume Down button once.
Step 6: Press the Power button to start the wiping process on your Pixel device.
Automatically highlight the Reboot system now option after completing the process.
Step 7: Press the Power button to reboot the system on your Pixel 8 series.
All your Pixel phone’s data is removed. Set up your Pixel device again.
