By default, safe mode is hidden on your Google Pixel device. In this tutorial, I’ll teach you how to enable or disable safe mode in Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. When you turn on safe mode Google Pixel 8 and other Pixel devices, you can access only system default apps. All third-party apps are disabled until turned off safe mode.

Safe mode helps check any downloaded app causing problems on your Pixel phone, like app crashes or freezes, slowing down your Pixel, etc. Let’s see the process to put Google Pixel 8 in safe mode.
Enable Safe Mode in Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro When Powerd On Phone
Long-press the power button until you view the power menu.
Press the Power off button to see the Reboot to Safe mode pop-up on your Google Pixel phone and tap OK.
When you turn on your Pixel device, you can view the safe mode icon at the bottom left corner.
This will turn off all downloaded applications you have installed on your Pixel. Check if your Pixel is facing any issues in safe mode. If facing the problem, it means any hardware or software glitch. If you don’t face any problem in safe mode, any third-party app is causing the problem on your phone. Exit safe mode and delete the recently installed apps one by one until you find the app causing the trouble. After removing the app, re-install other apps from the Play Store.
