How to Allow Install From Unknown Sources Android 9 Pie
By default disable unknown source android 9 Pie devices for Chrome, Drive, Gmail, Instagram, Xender, WhatsApp, etc. You can allow unknown sources on Android Pie 9.0 using the below-given apps & notification settings.
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel from the top of the screen and tap the Settings gear icon.
Step 2: Tap Apps & notifications.
Step 3: Tap Advanced.
Step 4: Scroll down up to the end of the page and tap Special app access.
You can see several options such as battery optimization, device admin apps, display over other apps, Picture-in-picture, install unknown apps, unrestricted data, and more.
Step 5: Tap Install unknown apps.
Step 6: Select the app you want to enable unknown source.
By default turned off toggle in your android device.
Step 7: Toggle on Allow from this source.
To install apk file in your android 9 Pie and other devices, you need to turn on allow install unknown apps.
If disabled unknown source and try to install apk file, you can see this message on the screen: For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source. Now tap settings (Show above screenshot) and enable it & install the third party application.
