Are you annoyed by Bluetooth not working on your latest Google Pixel devices? In this tutorial, I’ll explain methods to fix Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro Bluetooth problems. In previous Pixel devices, several users faced Bluetooth issues like Bluetooth pairing issues, Bluetooth disconnecting, can’t connect to a car’s Bluetooth, etc. Some Google Pixel devices face Bluetooth and Android auto issues in cars after system update.

How to Fix Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro Bluetooth Problems

Force Restart your Pixel

Press and hold the power & volume up buttons simultaneously until your phone screen turns off. You can restart your device automatically. Try to pair your Pixel with another device.

Turn Bluetooth Off & On

Turn Bluetooth On and Off to Fix Bluetooth Issues on Pixel 8

Swipe down the notification panel to quickly access it, and tap the Bluetooth to turn it off. Please wait for 10 seconds, tap it to turn on Bluetooth, and try to connect your phone to another Bluetooth device.

Clear Bluetooth Cache

If your Pixel doesn’t connect to another Bluetooth device, try to clear the cache for the Bluetooth app. It will remove unnecessary Bluetooth data from your phone. 

Step 1. Go to Settings.

Step 2. Tap Apps.

Step 3. Tap See all apps.

Hide the Bluetooth app on your Pixel device. To find the Bluetooth, you need to access system apps.

Step 4. Tap More (Three Vertical Dots) at the upper right.

Step 8: Tap Clear cache.

Forget the Device & Pair Again

Delete the paired connection from both your device and other accessories. Try to pair it with another device and check for a phone or hardware problem.

To delete the Bluetooth paired connection, go to Settings > Connected devices > See all in Saved devices > Settings gear icon of paired device > Forget > Forget device.

Your Pixel device will no longer be paired with this device.

Pair with Bluetooth device on Google Pixel 8 Pro

To connect Bluetooth pair, go to Settings > Connected devices > Pair new device > Tap your device name > Pair.  

Now, connect your device to another phone. You can transfer data between two devices.

Update your Pixel to Latest Version

Ensure the latest software version is installed on your Google Pixel phone.

Go to Settings > System > System update > Check for update

Update your Pixel device if a system update is available.

Reset Bluetooth Settings

This process will reset your device’s Bluetooth-paired connection and other Bluetooth settings.

To reste Bluetooth settings, go to Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Bluetooth & Wi-Fi > Reset.

Reset your Pixel to Factory Settings

Factory reset your Pixel device. It will delete all data. Ensure to back up your data before resetting your Google Pixel phone.

To factory reset Pixel phones, go to Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data (Factory reset) > Erase all data > Unlock your Pixel > Erase all data.

It will reset your Pixel phone to factory default settings. After resetting your phone, you need to set up your Pixel phone again and try to connect it to another Bluetooth device.

Contact the Google Support

Contact your Google support team if your Google Pixel still has Bluetooth issues. If there is a hardware issue, replace your device if it is under warranty.
