Want to change your Pixel 2 and 2 XL display look? Here’s how to enable Grayscale display mode in Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. You can turn on hidden Grayscale mode on Pixel 2 XL using developer mode settings. By default turned off this option. Choose to simulate color space from Monochromacy, Deuteranomaly (red-green), Protanomaly (red-green), or Tritanomaly (blue-yellow). How to Enable Pixel 2 Grayscale Display Mode
You can set different colors to looks at your Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices dark mode. Follow the below steps to turn on Grayscale mode in your device. First of all turn on developer option in your Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices using the below settings.
Step 1: Go to Settings in your Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices.
Step 2: Tap on About phone.
Step 3: Scroll down up to the end of the page and tap on Build number 7 times.
You can see this message on the screen: You are now a developer!
To see Pixel 2 developer mode settings, go to Settings > System > Advanced > Developer options
Now enable grayscale mode in your Pixel 2 device using this developer mode setting.
How to Enable Grayscale Display Mode Pixel 2 XL
Step 1: Go to Settings in your Pixel 2.
Step 2: Tap on System.
Step 3: Tap on Advanced > Developer options.
Step 4: Tap on Simulate color space under the Hardware accelerated rendering section (Show below screenshot).
By default choose the disabled option.
Step 5: Choose Monochromacy to turn on Grayscale display mode on Pixel 2 XL.
Now you’re Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL looks black & white type color or dark mode. You’ll also change simulate color space from Deuteranomaly (red-green)/Protanomaly (red-green)/ Tritanomaly (blue-yellow).
How to Turn Off Grayscale Pixel 3, 3 XL. 2 & 2 XL
Settings > System > Advanced > Developer options > Select Disabled in Simulate color space
