How to Quickly Disable Fingerprint Temporarily on Pixel 3 XL Using Lockdown Mode
This Google Pixel 3 hidden feature will automatically disable fingerprint and other smart lock when turning on. Make sure to set up a fingerprint on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL to use this feature. Check out below given settings.
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel from the top of the screen.
Step 2: Tap Settings gear icon.
Step 3: Tap Security & location.
Step 4: Tap Lock screen preferences under the device security section.
By default turned off lockdown mode in your android 9 Pie devices. So you can’t lowdown option on the power menu.
Step 5: Turn on the “Show lockdown option” toggle.
Activate lockdown mode in your Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL device. You can see Lockdown option added to the power menu in your Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
Step 6: Long press the power button on your Pixel 3, 3 XL and tap Lockdown.
Now temporarily disable fingerprint and smart lock in your Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
Step 7: Try to unlock your Pixel 3 using fingerprint or any other smart lock
You can’t unlock your Google Pixel 3 using fingerprint. To unlock your Pixel 3, just enter PIN number, pattern lock or password only one time. After unlocking Pixel 3 using the PIN or Password security, you’ll unlock your Pixel 3 using fingerprint or any other smart lock you use such as trusted places, trusted devices, trusted face (face unlock) and more.
