Change Pixel 3 Backgrounds using Wallpaper & Style Settings
Step 1: Long-press the blank space on the home screen and tap Wallpaper & style.
Step 2: Tap Change wallpaper.
Step 3: Tap My photo to select a picture from your phone gallery or Tap on the Default category from the list.
Step 4: Select a Photo and tap on the Right arrow icon at the bottom right corner.
Step 5: Choose set wallpaper on the Home screen, Lock screen, or Home and Lock screens.
Alternative: Settings > Wallpaper & style > Change wallpaper > Select a picture > Right arrow icon at the bottom right > Select Hom screen, Lock screen, or Home and Lock screens.
1st Way: Change Home Screen & Lock Screen Wallpaper on Pixel 3, 3 XL (Older Android Version)
Step 1: Long press the Blank space in your Pixel home screen.
Step 2: Tap Wallpapers.
List of different categories of Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL wallpapers available. Also, change the Pixel 3 wallpaper using a gallery photo.
Step 3: Select wallpaper from the category list.
Step 4: Tap Set wallpaper at the upper right side.
Step 5: Choose from the Home screen, Lock screen, or Both.

2nd Way: Change the Pixel 3 Wallpaper using Display Settings
Step 1: Swipe down the notification shade at the top of the screen and tap the Settings gear icon.
Step 2: Tap Display.
Step 3: Tap Wallpaper.
Step 4: Select the wallpaper.
Step 5: Tap Set wallpaper at the upper right corner.
Step 6: Choose a home screen/lock screen/both.
