How to Customize the Home Screen on Galaxy Note 8
Step 1: Tap & hold the blank space on your Note 8 home screen.
Here you’ll see wallpapers & themes, widgets, and home screen settings options.
Step 2: Tap on Home screen settings.
You’ll see the below-given list of galaxy Note 8 home screen settings.
Home screen layout
To show Note 8 home screen layout, swipe up or down on the home screen. You can add your daily use apps on the home screen to quickly operate. You can change the home screen layout on Note 8 using the below settings. Also set separate apps screen in your Note 8.
Tap blank space on home screen > Home screen settings > home screen layout > Choose from home & apps screens/home screen only > Apply > Apply
Home screen grid
This setting is helpful to change the home screen grid on galaxy Note 8. You can choose the grid size from 4×5/4×6/5×5 or 5×6.
Apps screen grid
It will change the app icons screen on your Galaxy Note 8. Set apps screen grid size as 4×6 or 5×6.
Apps button
Show/hide apps drawer buttons on the Galaxy Note 8 home screen. It will replace the right-side button on the home screen.
Tap blank space on home screen > Home screen settings > Apps button > Choose from show apps button/hide apps button > Apply
Quick open notification panel
By default disable this option. Turn on the toggle button to quickly open the notification panel from the home screen when swiping down from any screen.
Hide Apps
Hide apps icon from galaxy Note 8 home screen you don’t want to show.
