By default set apps on your OnePlus 6 Oxygen OS. You can change default apps in the OnePlus 6 using apps settings. In OnePlus 6 default apps settings, set home app (launcher), phone app, browser app, SMS app, camera app, music app, calendar app, and more. To set an app as default on OnePlus 6, select the app and choose what you want to set. If you don’t want to use by default set app in your device, download third-party apps from the play store and set the app as default. How to Change Default Apps on OnePlus 6 Oxygen OS
Step 1: Swipe down the notification shade from the top and tap on the Settings gear icon in OnePlus 6.
Step 2: Tap on Apps & notifications.
Here you’ll see OnePlus 6 apps settings including application list, app permissions, default apps, Parallel apps, and special app access.
Step 3: Tap on Default apps.
You can see a list of default apps including a home app (OnePlus launcher), gallery app, music app, Browser app (Chrome), phone app, SMS app, camera app, and more.
Step 4: Tap the Default app you want to change.
Step 5: Choose the app you want to set as default.
Now change the default camera app or calendar app or other apps in your OnePlus 6 device. You can also clear default apps in your device to set again by default selected app on your phone.
How to Clear Default Apps in OnePlus 6
Step 1: Go to Settings in your OnePlus 6.
Step 2: Tap on Apps & notifications.
Step 3: Tap on See all apps.
Step 4: Tap on App you want to clear.
Step 5: Tap on Advanced.
Step 6: Tap on Open by default.
Step 7: Tap on the Clear default button.
Now automatically set by default the selected app on your device.
