Here’s how to set up and customize Do not disturb mode in Android 9 Pie. When Do not disturb is turned on in your Android Pie 9.0, you’ll receive all notification silently or hide notifications. If you want to hide notifications, your device won’t make a sound or vibrate. While receiving new notifications, the notification won’t appear at the top of your screen even swipe down the screen.

How to Show or Hide Do Not Disturb Notifications in Android Pie 9.0
Let see how to customize notifications in Do not disturb mode Android 9.0 Pie device.
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel and tap the Settings gear icon.
Step 2: Tap Sound.
Step 3: Tap Do Not Disturb.
Here you can see behavior, exceptions, and schedule sections.
Step 4: Tap Notifications under the behavior section.
This setting is available for “When Do not Disturb is turned on in android Pie 9.0”. By default Custom selected. You can see show notification silently and hide notifications options.
Show notification silently:
Notifications will be muted, your device won’t make a sound or vibrate when receiving notifications in your device.
Hide notifications:
It’ll hide all new or existing notifications and mute notification on your phone.
Step 5: Choose from Show notification silently or Hide notifications
After selecting from the above-given option, you can’t see custom settings in your device.
How to Enable Custom Do not disturb settings in Android 9 Pie
Settings > Sound > Do not disturb > Behavior > Notifications > Three vertical dots (Menu) > Enable custom settings > Choose custom or tap Settings icon
