Turn on/turn off predictive text on Android Nougat 7.1.2 and other devices. Predictive text is useful to search the nearby words while typing on your keyboard. It will display the related words you typing, so you can easily find your words. In the nougat 7.0 & 7.1 devices, you can change this setting using language & input settings. It also includes suggestions of block offensive words, next-word suggestions, personalized suggestions, auto-correction, auto-capitalization, double space period and multilingual typing.
You can use the auto-correction feature to automatically add correct spelling when typing. When you typing donig instead of doing, it will automatically add correct (doing) words. It means automatically insert words of punctuation and spacebar. Also, use auto-capitalization to capital the first letter of each sentence in your android phone. How to Turn Off Predictive Text on Android 7.1.2 Nougat
Step 1: Open Apps from the home screen on your Android 7.0 Nougat (Moto G4 Plus).
Step 2: Go to Settings.
Step 3: Under the personal section, tap on Languages & input.
Step 4: Tap on Virtual keyboard under keyboard and input methods.
Step 5: Tap on Gboard.
You can see a list of various options.
Step 6: Tap on Text correction.
In the suggestions section, you can see the Show suggestions option. By default enable show suggestion in your android 7.0 nougat devices.
When enabling this prediction text/text correction feature, you can see the above screen when typing.
Step 7: Turn off the toggle button of show suggestion.
After disabling this, you can view the above screen when typing on your android phone. In WhatsApp, message and other messenger apps, you can quickly enable/disable predictive text feature in Nougat devices.

WhatsApp > Tap on “G” button > Search gear icon >Text correction > Show suggestion
