Step 1: Tap on “App drawer” from the home screen on your Moto G4 Plus (Android 7.0 Nougat).
Step 2: Go to “Settings” or Swipe down the notification panel from the top of the screen & tap on the “Settings” gear icon.
Step 3: Tap on “More” under the Wireless & network section.
Step 4: Tap on “Tethering & portable hotspot”.
You can see a portable Wi-Fi hotspot, set up Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth tethering, and USB tethering. By default, USB tethering disables, when your phone is connected with a USB cable, it will automatically enable.
Step 5: Tap on “Set up wifi hotspot”.

Step 6: Enter network name, security (WPA2 PSK/None), password (must have at least 8 characters), and AP band (2.4 GHz band/5 GHz band).
