Here’s how to reduce the data usage limit on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and Marshmallow 6.0. When enabling mobile data limits on the nougat device, your android phone will disable cellular data when reaches the set data limit in your device. Step 1: Go to “Settings” in your android 7.0 nougat device.
Step 2: Under wireless & networks, tap “Data usage”.
In this data usage setting, you can see cellular data usage, data saver, network restrictions, and Wi-Fi data usage. If two SIM cards used in your device then open that SIM billing cycle.
Step 3: Tap “Billing cycle”.
Here you can see billing cycle, data warning, and data limit settings in the nougat 7.0 device. By default turned off data limit on an android 7.0 nougat device.
Step 4: Toggle on set data limit in your android device.
Step 5: Touch “OK” to enable it.
You can see the Data limit option is seen. Before enabling this option set data limit is hidden.
Step 6: Tap “Data limit”.

Step 7: Tap “SET” after set limit data usage.
