Restart your phone
Turn off your android phone and then turn on again. This is the easiest trick to fix Google play service error.
Update the latest version of Google Play services
Make sure to update it with the latest version. You can download the latest Google Play services versions from the play store. If already latest versions updated and not fix the issue then uninstall updates and try to update again.
Open Play Store > Three horizontal lines > My apps & games > Update all
Uninstall Updates of Google Play Service
Step 1: Go to Settings in your android device.
Step 2: Under the device section, tap on Apps.
Step 3: Scroll down to Google Play services and tap on it.
Step 4: Tap on Three vertical dots at the top right side corner.
Step 5: Tap on Uninstall updates.
After uninstalling Google Play services updates, restart your android phone. Again update your Google play services and you can download or update apps in your android lollipop 5.1.1 and other devices.
Clear the cache of Google Play Services
Step 1: Go to Settings in your android device.
Step 2: Under the device section, tap on Apps.
Step 3: Scroll down to Google Play services and tap on it.
Step 4: Tap on Storage.
Step 5: Tap on Clear cache.
Now clear data of Google Service framework using below settings in your Google Pixel 7.1.2 phone.
Settings > Apps > Three vertical dots > Show system > Google Service framework > Storage > Clear data

Force Stop Google Play Services
Settings > Apps > Three vertical dots > Show system > Google Play services > Force stop > OK
Turn off Wi-Fi and Use Mobile Data to Download or Update apps
Recently my Google Pixel has faced this Google play services issue, using this method solved it. In my pixel device can’t update or download apps using Wi-Fi, only using mobile data update or download apps. To fix this Wi-Fi issue, reset network settings on Nougat 7.1.2 using the below settings.
Settings > Wireless & networks > Network settings reset > Reset settings
Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Reset WiFi, mobile & Bluetooth > Reset settings > Reset settings – Latest Android
After network reset your pixel phone, restart your pixel phone and you can download or update apps using Wi-Fi.
Remove Google account to fix Google Play Services has stopped working
Step 1: Go to “Settings”
Step 2: Tap “Accounts” under the personal section
Step 3: Touch “Google”
Step 4: Tap “More”
Step 5: Tap “Remove account”
This will delete all messages, contacts, and other data from the phone related with this Google account.
Step 6: Tap “Remove account”
Step 7: Click “OK” to remove an account
Again login with your Google account and check the issue resolve.
Reset App Preferences
Step 1: Go to “Settings”
Step 2: Tap “Apps” under the device section
Step 3: Touch “More” from top of the right side corner
Step 4: Tap “Reset app preferences”
You can view this message on the screen: Reset app preferences?
Step 5: Tap “Reset apps”
It will reset all app preferences on your android phone or tablet including background data restrictions for apps, any permission restrictions, disabled apps, disabled app notifications, and more. But you will not lose any app data from your phone.

Factory Reset Your Android Phone
It will reset all your android device information including Google account, downloaded apps or games, music, photos, and more. Before factory reset android, backup & restore your android data.
Step 1: Go to “Settings”.
Step 2: Under the personal section, tap on “Backup & reset”.
Step 3: Tap on “Factory data reset”.
Step 4: Touch “Reset Phone”.
Step 5: Touch “Erase everything”.
Alternative Way (Stock Android 10):
Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Erase all data (Factory reset) > Erase all data > Erase all data
